We celebrated Connie Allord's 96th birthday and Connie and Elizabeth Benn were awarded Quilts of Valor Wisconsin by State Coordinator Karen Demaree. Connie Allord was a Marine Air Traffic Controller during World War II and Elizabeth Benn retired from the Army as a Sergeant Major.

Pat is active in Quilts of Valor in her home state of Iowa. She came to Madison for the quilt presentation to her daughter, retired Sergeant Major Elizabeth Benn.
